Salary: D2 point 4 – 11 (£24,404 to £27,269)

Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Location: All Sites across Rivermead Inclusive Trust

An exciting opportunity has arisen, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated individual to be an additional Trust Caretaker working across all sites within The Rivermead Inclusive Trust and working with the Facilities Manager and Site Teams. Knowledge of DIY techniques, practical skills, good interpersonal and communication ability and a flexible attitude to work are essential along with a full driving licence, there will be occasional drives in the school minibuses, training will be provided.

The position will be across all schools within the Trust covering where there is a need, this position will be line managed by the Facilities Manager.

Working hours may be subject to variation and call-out at weekends and unsocial hours may be required from time to time, of which overtime will be paid.

You must:

  • Be able to turn your hand to anything and enjoy working alongside children and young people.
  • Be a general handy person or have maintenance experience.
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills to deal with enquiries and correspondence.
  • Be physically fit and able to undertake lifting or carrying up to 30kg.
  • Be able to use your own initiative to address issues as they arise.
  • Adhoc duties as directed by the Facilities Manager
