As our school is expanding to a through Primary, we are looking to appoint an office assistant to join our amazing team in our school office. We are looking to hear from positive, motivated and experienced applicants who would be able to add to our already fantastic team at St Nicholas Primary School. 

Good communication skills and the ability to prioritise and organise are essential.  Previous administrative experience in a school setting is essential.  Candidates will need to be highly confidential.

Other roles include:

  • Act as front of house and communicate with children, staff, parents and visitors appropriately.
  • Ensure security protocols are communicated and understood by all visitors at the school.
  • Understand safeguarding procedures.
  • Ensure the office area is tidy and welcoming.
  • Assist with maintaining general order in the school, e.g. clearing lost property.

Salary range starts at Grade D2.11 (£14.13 per hour). The hours are 10am-2pm Monday to Friday term time only.

St Nicholas CEVC Primary school is an expanding one form entry, Church of England school, opening as a through primary in September 2024 and we have been growing ever since. We are situated in the centre of Strood, and have fantastic links with St Nicholas Church which is used throughout the year for worships and celebrations. We also use our location to enhance the children’s curriculum, such as walks to Rochester and the local parks.
