An exciting opportunity has arisen at Little Oaks After-School Club, Sandgate (Coolinge Lane, Folkestone) for an Amazing-Superstar to join our staff team.

Little Oaks is a very popular After-School Club providing a safe, inclusive and fun environment for children from our local primary school, from 3.15pm until 5.45pm daily.

We would like to appoint an enthusiastic After School Assistant to assist in leading a range of activities for our children and provide a safe and happy extended club facility to support our families.

The hours of work would be either 4 or 5 days per week, 3.00pm - 6.00pm, term time only.

Your role will involve organising play activities and providing high quality care to children attending our after-school club. This will include setting up activities, supporting children in their play, serving and clearing away snacks and maintaining good standards of behaviours.

We are looking for someone with:

Experience of working with children in a paid or voluntary capacity;

Good communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with our children and their families

Full training in first aid, safeguarding will be offered.
