Are you a recent or soon-to-be graduate with a passion for inspiring young minds? Do you want to make a real difference in education while gaining a recognised teaching qualification? If so, Future Schools Trust’s Graduate Teacher Training Programme offers a structured, supportive route into the teaching profession.

About the Programme

Our highly regarded Graduate Teacher Training Programme is designed to provide talented graduates with an immersive and structured pathway into teaching. Through an intensive induction programme, you will develop the necessary skills and confidence before gradually transitioning into classroom teaching. The programme culminates in a qualification route leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) working in partnership with renowned and well established training provider TES Institute.

What to Expect

  • Comprehensive Induction Programme: Engage in a rigorous initial training period, gaining insight into effective teaching methods, behaviour management, and curriculum development.
  • Gradual Classroom Exposure: Begin by supporting experienced teachers in the classroom before taking on independent teaching responsibilities at a manageable pace.
  • Professional Development & Mentoring: Benefit from expert guidance and one-to-one mentorship from experienced educators throughout the scheme.
  • QTS Pathway: Upon successful completion of the programme, you will have the opportunity to enrol on a formal training route to gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ensuring a smooth transition into a fully qualified teaching role.
  • Comprehensive Early Career Teacher (ECT) Induction: Upon successful completion of the programme, you will benefit from a two year induction period designed to support your professional growth. During this time, you’ll receive dedicated mentoring, reduced teaching timetables, and access to specialist training to help you develop confidence and skills in the classroom.
