Are you a passionate leader committed to inclusive education? Do you have the expertise and drive to lead strategic improvements in SEND provision?

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEND & Quality Lead to join our senior leadership team from September 2025. This is a strategic and influential role, ideal for an individual who thrives on working collaboratively to transform outcomes for learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

About the Role

As our SEND & Quality Lead, you will:

  • Provide expert guidance on inclusive teaching and curriculum design.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of SEND strategies.
  • Support and coach staff to embed high-quality, inclusive practices across the college.
  • Monitor and evaluate SEND learners’ progress and use data to inform continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all SEND provision aligns with national legislation and best practice.

You will play a central role in driving whole-college improvement by shaping SEND provision and ensuring all learners can thrive—regardless of their starting points.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a strong, inspirational leader who has:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and specialist knowledge of SEND.
  • Proven experience in SEND education, policy implementation, and curriculum development.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to work across teams.
  • A deep understanding of current SEND legislation and effective inclusive practices.

Desirable Qualities

  • A postgraduate qualification in SEND, Inclusion or Leadership
  • Experience leading SEND teams or whole school/ college initiatives.
  • Knowledge of research-informed approaches to SEND.
