Teaching Assistant / Social Media / Website

Hours: 32.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 15:45) 

Why be a Specialist Teaching Assistant? 

Are you passionate about a particular subject and want to encourage students to learn?  Do you wish to make a real difference to children's learning and progress by supporting class teaching, assisting in providing a learning environment that enables all children to learn to the best of their ability, to support all children's well-being and to lead intervention groups? 

Specialist Teaching Assistants will be allocated to the areas where they will be responsible for supporting the class teacher in the teaching and welfare of children to ensure they attain the targets set under their individual educational programmes.  Dealing with pupils’ therapeutic, behavioural and personal care needs. 

The designated Teaching Assistant will also have responsiblility for media, the school website, and social media, creating and managing the school's online presence.
