We are looking for a kind, caring, committed, talented and enthusiastic teacher to work full-time in a mixed year upper KS2 Class. We would consider an application from an ECT, who would be supported and mentored by an experienced teacher. We would also welcome applications from experienced teachers.

Joining our talented team will give you a real chance to contribute to the life of the school and to make a difference to every child throughout the school. We believe in making learning enjoyable and fun; creating a safe environment in which children feel encouraged to push their learning; and celebrating the success of each individual. Outdoor learning is promoted and risk taking encouraged.

St Lawrence C.E. Primary is a popular, oversubscribed, rural school consisting of 4 classes.

The school is set in idyllic surroundings and has a strong sense of community spirit and a caring family atmosphere. We have particular strengths in the arts, forest school, outdoor learning and a child focused ethos. We are very proud to be a church school with embedded Christian values and we enjoy strong relationships with our local church.

We have a stable and experienced staff team. Staff morale is high and staff turn-over is low.
