Advert

Can you work in an office as well as being a welcoming and helpful first point of contact for parents and visitors?

Ramsgate Holy Trinity C.E. is a small but busy Primary School on the border between Ramsgate and Broadstairs. We pride ourselves on being a caring, friendly and highly successful school with a 'family' feel.

A range of skills will be required for this role - you must be calm, positive, welcoming, firm, patient and incisive. You must be able to see the bigger picture and have an eye for detail. You must have the ability to work using your own initiative as well as work as an effective team member. Experience preferred, but is not essential as training will be given.

You will be a public face of the school for parents and visitors, as well as  providing support with the running of a school office; which at any one time means using the school's administrative software, putting a plaster on a child's grazed knee, helping a worried parent, booking coaches, sending out a letter, booking a supply teacher - often all at the same time!

In short, you will be an important part of the team that ensures the school continues to operate smoothly.

The post is initially fixed term for 18 months, part time, term time only, and includes Inset Days. Monday to Thursday - hours to be 12:00 noon to 4:00pm and Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm (22.5 hours a week).
