Join us at Claremont!

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to cover a maternity leave for academic year 2025/26 in one of our key stage 2 classes.

Are you a fun, creative and inspiring teacher who has the energy, commitment and innovation to teach a broad and balanced curriculum in an excellent school? Do you have a proven track record for high Quality First Teaching? If so, we would be interested in you joining us at Claremont Primary School.

You will work in a strong, friendly and supportive team, and plan with an experienced year group partner. At Claremont we work hard to support positive mental and physical wellbeing for all, alongside forward-facing educational excellence for our pupils.

Our school hosts well behaved, hardworking and fun pupils, an encouraging governing body and an active parent community. Our collaborative approach allows for all to have a voice and for us move towards initiatives and changes together with a joint responsibility.

You must have a sense of humour, be keen to embed yourself in our values, and promote an outdoor learning ethos in our extensive well used grounds.

Experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome.

If you are an ECT- you will have required allocated release time, be supported by an experienced mentor and have a supportive team across the school to allow you to start your teaching journey feeling confident.

If you are interested to find out more please check out our website and call for a chat/zoom. We look forward to meeting you!
