We are a large primary school with 630 pupils and over 100 staff. The school is warm, friendly and welcoming and the staff team works closely together to support all of our pupils.

We currently have an opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager (caretaker). 

The Site Team are responsible for the management and strategic planning of the whole school site, ensuring that the school complies with all current legislation relating to site safety and maintenance.

The Assistant Site Manager's responsibilities will include: site maintenance, security and procurement. They will also deputise for the Site Manager in all aspects in their absence. 

Amongst other skills, the successful candidate will be proactive, able to prioritise and have a wide range of maintenance skills. Experience of working in a school or similar setting is preferable.

This is an all year round post for 35 hours per week, for example, Monday - Friday, 7am to 3pm (including a one hour unpaid lunch break). 

Candidates should be in sympathy with the ethos of a church school.
