Richmond Academy is looking to recruit Intervention Teaching Assistants to join our dynamic and friendly team. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference to the children. Ideally we require someone with experience of working with young children who have additional educational and emotional needs however support and training will be part of the induction process.

As an Intervention TA, you would be working with small groups of children and individuals to provide additional support with reading, writing and mathematics. A knowledge of intervention programmes is an advantage, but not essential. The ideal candidate will be committed to working in an inclusive framework, working closely with class teachers and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator.

We are looking for high-calibre applicants with a passion for learning and high expectations for all pupils. 30 hours per week / 43 paid weeks (term time + 5 weeks holiday)

Pro rata'd salary (30hrs @ 43 paid weeks)  will be approximately: £15,998 gross

Please note this role is temporary and will be reviewed in line with funding acquired, the role will be subject to review 31st August 2025.
