Our support staff are highly valued members of our school, who we know make a huge difference to the learning experience for our children. 

We are seeking a dedicated After School Club Supervisor who is passionate about children’s well-being. The ideal candidate should be adept at building positive relationships and encouraging children to develop their skills and abilities. An enthusiasm for engaging in activities with children and being a great role model is essential.

At St Nicholas at Wade CEP School, our After School Club team can expect to work with polite, happy children who are eager to be the best they can be. This role will also involve collaboration with a fabulous team of staff who support and look after each other. Furthermore, our school prides itself on its supportive leadership team, who serve their team to enable them to excel.

We are setting up an afterschool club to complement our successful breakfast club to provide children with a home from home experience. Our hardworking parents need to feel confident and happy that thier children are being cared for in a warm and purposeful environment by caring, fun and responsive adults.

“A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove. But the world may be different, because I was important in the life of a Child.

Responsibilities include:

  • Setting up activities, games and resources
  • Supporting homework and reading 
  • Outdoor activities and sports
  • Responding to children's needs
  • Providing a light supper (provided by school)
  • The safe handover of children to parents and carers

The hours are 3pm - 5:45pm Monday to Friday.
