We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality teaching and support to our students, fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment. We are looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant who:

  • Puts pupils first.
  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner who can lead by exemplary practice.
  • Has high expectations of all pupils and secure exceptional outcomes for all.
  • Be optimistic, energetic, resilient and creative.
  • Be active in developing positive relationships with our pupils
  • Embrace change and innovation positively and with a good sense of humour.

Our recent successful Ofsted Inspection in February 2024 graded Barnsole as ‘Good’ which is a recognition of all the hard work and commitment shown by the children, staff and wider community. Ofsted commented, ‘The school is a calm and orderly environment. Staff have high expectations and pupils behave well. The school aims for pupils to be resilient and have a lifelong curiosity about the world. There are high expectations for all pupils to do well.’
