Receptionist Required

Grade 3 Point 11 (£11.54 per hour) £22,264 FTE / £19,150 actual

37 hours per week Monday to Friday term time only 

8:30am to 4:30pm with 30 min lunch break

Start date: September 2024

 

Cliftonville Primary & Pre School is looking to appoint a Receptionist for the School’s front office to start in September 2024. As Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for visitors and parents so will need a calm, pleasant and professional manner.

Your main responsibilities will include answering the school’s main telephone and dealing with queries or requests as necessary; maintaining the electronic visitor system and ensuring that all our safeguarding procedures are strictly followed by all visitors. You will also be required to undertake administrative tasks such as word processing, data input, filing and contacting parents when required through telephone,texts and app messages. You will be part of the wider Admin Team and will work closely with the Office Manager and Finance Officer to provide an efficient and effective service to the rest of the school.

The ideal candidate will need to be well organised, proficient in their own time management, be able to work well as part of a team as well as on their own, have a friendly, welcoming manner, and be able to communicate with all members of our school community. Above all though a sense of humour is essential!

We are one of the largest primary schools in Kent with nearly 862 children on roll, including a Pre-School that offers 30 hour provision.
