Hours:        37 hours per week, term time only

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team as a Student Support Advisor. 

 

As a valued member of our Sixth Form Support team, you'll play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and conducive environment for our students. Working closely with the sixth form administrator, welfare officer, KS5 careers advisor, and Assistant Principals, you'll be at the forefront of providing comprehensive support to our UKAT students. 

 

Your key responsibilities will include being the first point of contact for parents, staff, and students on pastoral issues, ensuring timely support and intervention to enhance student progress and attainment. You'll supervise and cultivate a purposeful study environment, guiding students in developing effective study skills and promoting independent learning. 

 

Your role will also involve maintaining accurate records, monitoring attendance, and addressing punctuality issues, all while providing pastoral support and guidance to our sixth formers.  Additionally, you'll assist in promoting enrichment activities, HE/FE progression opportunities, and maintaining resources essential for student success.
