The Parent Support Advisor is an integral member of our school and is seen as a ‘front of house’ position. The PSA works as part of the front office and in collaboration with other staff members. This is a position in which you can make a real difference to the lives of our children and families. It would be desirable to have knowledge of inter-agency provisions to support schools and families. The candidate should be able to work in a collaborative way, with the Head teacher and other school staff, to manage the diverse needs of pupils and families.

We are looking for a candidate who has exceptional inter-personal skills, communications skills and an understanding of the needs of children and young people. We need someone diligent, organised and efficient as it is essential that an effective record keeping system is maintained and accurate records are kept. Training will be provided to support where required. The successful candidate will also be open to supporting the wider Ashford hub.
