Would you like to join our aspirational, joyful school community, where senior leaders and staff share a passion and determination to unlock the potential in every pupil?

Salary: Kent Range 6; £25,127 - £26,383 (37 hours per week, all year round). 27 days annual leave per year + bank holidays.   Some flexibility to hours could be accommodated.

We offer working hours of 08:00-16:00 Mon - Thur and 08:00-15:30 Friday, however some flexibility to hours could be accommodated.

Meadowfield School has an excellent opportunity for a Finance Administrator to join our Finance Team. This is a varied and dynamic role and you will support the day to day running of the finance operations, including preparation of payment runs, reconciliation work, payroll functions and other ad-hoc duties. The successful candidate will be well organised, with a high level of attention to detail, have  excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and have the ability to prioritise your workload and operate independently. You will work closely with and report directly to the Finance Manager.

This role will suit someone with significant administration and finance experience; working in a similar role within a school environment is desirable but not essential.  You will need to have a desire to understand the impact of finance on all areas of the school organisation.

At Meadowfield we work hard to ensure that our pupils make excellent progress, and we continually seek to improve the wellbeing of both pupils and staff. Now is an exciting time to join our exceptional school as we continue to expand in order to better meet the demand for special school places in Swale.

We encourage all of our employees to further their career development and we respect initiative and ambition. We are committed to performance management, staff training, coaching, mentoring and peer support.

From all staff we expect commitment to the school and a desire to improve and excel. Further information about the responsibilities of the role, and the criteria we will use to select candidates, can be found in the attached job description and person specification.

Meadowfield School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils. This post is subject to references, a medical check and an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
