We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Forest School Lead to join our team to cover between 3 and 5 days per week in a number of schools that we provide Forest School / Outdoor Learning to in the North Kent. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a deep understanding of the benefits of Forest School. You will be responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating Forest School sessions for children aged 3-12. You will also be responsible for maintaining and developing our Forest School site.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and evaluate Forest School sessions for children aged 3-12
  • Maintain and develop our Forest School sites across the three schools
  • Work with other members of staff to ensure the smooth running of Forest School sessions
  • Liaise with parents and carers where 
  • Report to the Forest School Lead in delivering a consistent approach across the company
  • Be a positive role model for children

Qualifications and Experience

  • Level 3 Forest School Leader Qualification
  • Outdoor First Aid
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Experience of working with children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A passion for Forest School and the outdoors
