We are looking for an excellent PE teacher to teach weekly lessons to all age groups in the school, and lead sports clubs after school, as well as lunchtime activities. You will be in school for one full day, and two afternoons. Time for planning, preperation and assessment is included. 

The successful condidate will have secure subject knowledge across a range of PE disciplines, and will be able to deliver lessons with clear progression, building on children's previous learning. You will be committed to inclusion and full participation in PE for all pupils. You will lead a sports team in taking part in inter-school competition. 

We can offer the opportunity to work with an enthusiastic, dedicated team within a supportive school community. Visits to the school are warmly encouraged.

Boughton Monchelsea Primary is a one form entry school set in spacious, attractive grounds on the outskirts of Maidstone.

Parts of our school building date from 1850, but the site has been updated over the years to incorporate a purpose-built Infant Block, indoor swimming pool, library and hall. We have extensive outdoor learning areas, including our own wood where we hold Forest School sessions in the summer.
