We are looking to appoint a highly motivated teaching partner to join our team at Temple Grove Academy.

Full-time, term time only (39 weeks), for a fixed term until 31 July 2025.

The main focus of the role is to provide support to pupils. Your responsibilities may include supporting children in achieving the lesson objective, leading 1:1 and group intervention programmes, feeding back to the class teacher, maintaining records of progress and behaviour, working with children to support any social, emotional, behavioural, personal care or medical needs and liaising with parents and external professionals.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Be able to model excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a good understanding of how children learn
  • Be flexible and able to adapt to the needs of the children
  • Be committed to raising standards.
  • Be able to liaise closely with teachers, support staff, parents and the wider community

Pay rate is KR4 (pro-rata) however this may include an additional SEND allowance for the right candidate.

Temple Grove Academy is the newest school to join the Skinners’ Academies Trust, a group of 6 schools across Tunbridge Wells, Kent and London. The Trust provides central financial services, expert governance and an extensive professional development programme.  We work closely with our neighbouring schools, Skinners’ Kent Primary School and The Skinners’ Kent Academy.
