Are you looking for a new challenge? Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with their development and learning? Are you keen to develop new skills? Come and join our fantastic team at Cliftonville Primary and Pre-School.

We are seeking an adaptable and flexible Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated, supportive SEN staff team. Ideally, you will be experienced in responding to the needs of pupils with SEN, supporting their personalised learning and social development across the day and keen to develop within the role. The role will involve supporting a pupil with specific needs within a Year 1 class.

These children are often needs led and some follow personalised learning journeys along different curriculum pathways, depending on their individual needs.

Whilst relevant qualifications and experience would be an advantage, they are not essential (please refer to the Teaching Assistant Person Specification). We provide all staff with a comprehensive induction training, which includes Makaton, behaviour and safeguarding training. We are committed to providing aspirational outcomes for all our students and we will provide regular specialist training for all staff.

We advise all candidates to read the Teaching Assistant Job Description and Person Specification before applying and to refer to this in their personal statement. If you believe that you could make a difference to a child’s education then please apply. · You have a positive sense of humour and attitude

· You are a clear communicator with adults and children
