DATA ADMINISTRATOR - PERMANENT POSITION

Working Pattern: 37 hours per week*, term time + 5 staff training days + 3 weeks 

(Two weeks of which will be in the summer holidays)

Salary: Kent Range 6 (£22,242 actual starting salary/£23,801 full time equivalent)

Start Date: Required for an immediate start (or as soon as current employment notice period allows)

St John's Catholic Comprehensive School is seeking to appoint a dedicated, motivated and determined individual for the position of Data Administrator.  We are looking for a proactive, reliable individual with a keen eye for detail and high levels of accuracy.

You will be working as part of the school's Data Team, to support the set-up, integration and maintenance of SIMS Assessment Manager and other packages used to record and analyse student performance data.

The responsibilities for this role include; exporting student attainment data to relevant external locations, assisting with the post 16 learning aims data, administering the school's statutory census returns, producing student timetables and supporting with the administering of option choices for students.

The ideal candidate will have proven skills in being able to record and interpret data accurately; a good working knowledge of database and spreadsheet systems is required.  Having excellent ICT skills, to include experience of all Microsoft Office systems and SIMS is essential for this role.  Knowledge of the SIMS Assessment Manager module is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

To succeed in this role, you must be a team player and an effective communicator at all levels within the School, including with students.  A flexible approach and the ability to prioritise workload and to meet internal and external deadlines is vital.
