Head of School 

We are looking for an inspirational, dedicated and caring leader to manage a large staff team and drive standards forward. 

You must be passionate about the education of 'all children' and ensuring that they flourish both as learners and as a person.

This post requires an experienced leader - it would ideally suit a current HOS in a smaller school setting looking to broaden their experience or an experienced Deputy Headteacher with whole school leadership experience. However, all applications are welcome and will be considered against the job description and person specification.

You will be required to be an operational leader of Minster C of E Primary School, assuming responsibility for the day-to-day running of the school. You will also be part of a wider leadership team and contribute to the development of the Federation of Minster and Monkton Schools.

Candidates must have the gravitas and emotional literacy to manage a large staff who are already a close working team. You need to embody the TEAM Minster philosophy and showcase this in everything that you do.

Candidates should be a 'leader of learning' and have strong experience in all subject areas of the curriculum, especially English, Maths and RE. 

A fully inclusive attitude and approach is essential for the role and a strong knowledge of supporting children with SEND and those with Pupil Premium would be advantageous.
