The Federation of Minster and Monkton Church of England Primary Schools was formed through the close work, collaboration and bond between both schools.

They are both village school, situated about one and half miles away from each other in the lovely East Kent villages of Minster and Monkton.

Minster is a two-form entry primary school that received a grading of good, for both Ofsted (Jan 23) and SIAMS (May 23).

Monkton is a small half form entry primary school that received a good grading for Ofsted (Sept 18) and an Outstanding grading for SIAMS (2016).

The catchment areas are mixed, with children from a wide variety of backgrounds and we have quite high percentages of SEN and Pupil Premium. Both our schools are well equipped, with great outdoor areas.

We place high value on developing the ‘whole child’. Academically, we offer a broad and balanced curriculum, rich with outdoor learning opportunities; we have established Forest Schools in both schools which all children experience.

Our curriculum is adjusted to meet the needs of our children as we want all children to flourish and thrive.
