The candidate would need to work Wednesdays covering a year 4 class and teach Year 6 all day on a Thursday and Friday; there will be some PPA on the Wednesday afternoon also.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Key Stage 2 Teacher, with experience of teaching Year 6 to join our Craylearning community whilst one of our current year 6 teachers is on maternity leave. The successful candidate will work alongside another teacher in the year group, working closely to provide the very best for the children.

The candidate should be approachable by pupils, staff and parents/carers and value the school's ethos of 'happy together, safe together, learning together'.

If you want to join our fun and supportive school team, you should be hardworking, friendly, with a good sense of humour and always have the children's needs at the forefront of all that you do...does this sound like you?

We can offer you

  • happy, lively children who are keen to learn
  • a close supportive school community
  • CPD opportunities
  • a supportive leadership team who consider staff work load
  • fantastic support staff who go above and beyond
  • a school where everyone looks out for each other!

We are also very lucky to have extensive school grounds providing opportunities for outdoor learning.

We would very much like to tour candidates around our 'good' school (Sept 2019).

We look forward to hearing from you!
