25 hours per week, 52 weeks. Permanent position. 25 days annual holiday plus Bank Holidays.

Mon-Fri 2pm – 7pm but with flexibility to cover the morning shift during staff absence.

We are looking to recruit a part-time Caretaker to assist our Site Manager in undertaking general repairs and maintenance to ensure the site is safe for pupils, staff and visitors.

The successful candidate will maintain the security of the school, ensuring that the site is secured when unoccupied, and as a registered key holder may be asked to attend alarm call-outs. You will also be asked to undertake emergency cleaning as required, and provide a portering service for deliveries as well as moving furniture and replenishing supplies.

You will have previous experience of building maintenance and knowledge of basic plumbing, joinery, electrical and decorating repair. Basic computer skills are preferred but not essential.

We are seeking applicants that can act on their own initiative, dealing with any unexpected problems that may arise with a positive attitude.
