Come and  join our team at Thurnham C of E Infant School!

A caring and proactive Learning Support Assistant is required to work with  a child to support his emotional needs through the school day. Initially this role will be in the Early Years (Reception) Class.

This role to provide 1:1 support.

An understanding of attachment  and  how to implement the princples of Nurture would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.

Pupils are joyful and safe in this nurturing school. Children make a strong start in early years, where the school's exceptional pastoral care begins. Pupils feel special and highly valued. Staff are dedicated to finding unique talents in every pupil.

The school roll is currently 270 pupils, spread over nine classes (three classes per year group).

Team work and positive working relationships are very important to us and we are very much at the heart of our community, working closely with our local Church.

Our last diocese inspection was graded Outstanding (March 2018).
