Business Administration Apprentice , Level 3 

Working Hours: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

Contract: 17 month fixed term contract

Anticipated start date: January 2024

We have a great opportunity for a Business Administration Apprentice to join our friendly and supportive school administration team. We are looking for a dynamic, committed and friendly person to be in this front-facing role in our school, working as part of our admin team. You may be required on occassions to work at our satellite provisions. 

This is a varied role, where you will provide a friendly, welcoming, first point of contact for parents/carers, visitors and staff. You will have the opportunity to gain a wide range of administration experiences whilst working as part of the admin team. You will be dealing with all manner of enquiries in person, via telephone or email and therefore it is essential you have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to remain calm, professional and patient, in order to maintain the smooth and efficient running of the reception areas.

It is important that you have good communication skills and can effectively multi-task. You must be able to respect confidential information relating to staff, pupils and families.

You will have:-  

  • 5 GCSEs including Maths & English  
  • Good IT skills and able to use software packages such as Google
  • The ability to work as part of a team  
  • Good verbal and written communications skills 
  • Organised and good at managing your time
