Greenacre Academy are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of PE, or Sports Coach to join the Greenacre Sports Partnership team. The successful candidate will support the team and work closely with the partnership manager to design and deliver high quality PE, School Sport and Physical Activity opportunities to all young people across the partnership. The Greenacre Sports Partnership works with approx. 40 schools from across Kent & Medway and focuses on: 

  • Teacher Training and CPD
  • Assessment for Learning 
  • Schemes of Work & Lesson Plans 
  • Healthy Active Lifestyles
  • Leadership 
  • Outdoor Learning/Forest School
  • School Games Delivery

The successful candidate will deliver extra-curricular clubs and attend and support local competitions. They will need their own transport as some travel may be required across various sites in Medway. A QTS Certificate is required for the Teacher Position. Key Responsibilities Include:

  • To ensure a high profile for PE is developed and maintained across the schools. 
  • To upskill partnership colleagues with their delivery of high quality PE through 1:1 support and CPD.
  • To deliver specific programmes in relation to the development of PE, School Sport and Physical Activity across all the partnership schools.
  • To ensure pupils of all levels of ability are appropriately challenged and motivated to achieve their full potential.
  • To promote and inspire healthy active lifestyles and facilitate programmes related to this.
  • To lead on local School Games competitions and to work collaboratively with the Medway and Kent network to ensure events are successfully provided.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote the partnerships offer and achievements.
