Aylesford School are looking for a new member to join the Administration team as Attendance Assistant. 

The Attendance Assistant is responsible to the Attendance Officer and Attendance Lead to promote excellent attendance, reduce levels of absence and work with children and families. Aylesford School has recently been commended for the excellent work we do regarding attendance, and we are keen for the new team member to have the same passion and commitment to ensure our students have the best chance of succeeding.

What we are looking for in the right candidate;

  • A strong moral compass and a commitment to Safeguarding 
  • Takes pride in their work and delivers to a high standard
  • Ability to work independantly, with autonomy to make the right decisions, but also as a wider team
  • Able to prioritise both a to-do list and any ad-hoc tasks that may be presented with short notice
  • A willingness to learn new systems and processes as technology develops 

Job Role;

  • Full time hours (37 per week, Monday-Thursday 8-4, Friday 8-3.30)
  • Term Time only (including 1 Staff Development day)
  • Free on-site parking
  • Full training given, and opportunities to train within other areas
