An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong candidate to support teaching and learning at Knockhall Primary School in the heart of the community. This role is varied, and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual able to cope in a high-pressure environment and deal with constantly changing priorities.

We are looking to appoint a teaching assistant with a passion for Early Years to join our school team to work within the Early Years and continue on our journey to success and help drive our mission forward, removing barriers for all and ensuring our children access the education they deserve. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidates must have a relevant level 3 early years qualification (Early Years Educator)
  • Working in a team to deliver excellent teaching and learning.
  • Coaching children on a 1:1 or group basis.
  • Accompanying groups on trips.
  • Supporting assessment and evidencing learning
  • Creating stimulating classroom displays and learning resources.
  • Maintaining a safe and positive environment for all children.
  • Creating opportunities for all children to reach their potential, irrespective of ability.
  • A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults.
  • The ability to use relevant technology/equipment.
