We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our outstanding organisation, to fulfil the role of HR Lead. This post is for 37 hours per week, 42 weeks per year (term time, plus 3 weeks, to be agreed) on Kent Range 7/8 (£25,378 - £28,446, £28598 - £32,333) pro-rata, depending on experience. The successful candidate's working days will be Monday to Friday and start and finish times to be agreed.

The successful applicant will take the lead in HR, including recruitment, absence management, performance management, onboarding, HR systems. They will ensure that all pre-employment processes are in line with safer recruitment guidelines and recruitment procedures are strictly followed and are legally compliant. They will also maintain the Single Central Record. The HR Lead will work closely with the Headteacher and Director of Finance and Resources to develop HR strategies in the application of HR policies and processes.

We welcome applications from candidates with considerable HR experience, preferably within a school setting, and the candidate will ideally have HR qualifications or be educated to Degree level/NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent). Candidates must possess good interpersonal qualities and communication skills.
