We have a vacancy for a committed, enthusiastic and caring teacher to join our friendly and dedicated staff on a fixed term contract for one year (January to January). We pride ourselves in our creative curriculum, judged recently by OFSTED to be good and are always looking to enhance the rich experiences offered to our children, both inside and outside of the classroom.

We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about education, enjoys the challenge of bringing learning to life and has a great sense of humour and a positive approach.

You will be joining an exceptional group of professionals who are focused on providing the best opportunities for every child in the school. We work as a team and value the contributions all of our staff make in providing the very best for the children in our care. We are strongly supported by parents and Governors alike.

Information about the school

Wincheap Primary School is situated on the outskirts of Canterbury, close to routes into London, Ashford, Maidstone and Dover and within easy walking distance of the City Centre. The school is well resourced and occupies a large site with its own playing fields and Forest School. There are approx 440 pupils on roll.

The school offers its pupils a broad and balanced curriculum with an emphasis on the arts and has a specialist designation with a speech, language and communication department on site.
