We are looking for an ambitious, experienced person to join our team.  This post is for 32.5 hours per week, term time only. This post is based at Newington CEP School however you may be required to work across the Federation in the future.

We are looking for:

  • A Family Liason Officer who has experience working within a Primary School
  • An ability to communicate well and work as part of a team within the school and across the Federation.  
  • A amily Liason Officer with a sense of humour, able to appreciate the joy in our learning community and engage with our supportive parent/carers.
  • Someone able to work on their own initiative with confidence in their professional judgement.

Information about the federation

Newington CEP School and Lower Halstow School are single form entry village Primary Schools for children aged 2 - 11 and 4-11. Both have close links with their village church and community and spacious school grounds with games pitches. Both schools offer a safe secure learning environment and are well equipped with a variety of resources.

Newington was extended in 2000 with 4 new Classrooms and Library and the original building has been fully renovated. It has an on-site nursery building catering for pupils from 2 years old. Lower Halstow School moved into its present building in October 2005 and offers many modern facilities such as a Sports Hall, ICT suite & Dining Hall.

We have supportive governors and parents and our pupils are happy, polite, enthusiastic and are proud of their school. We are constantly striving to improve the opportunities for all and are always looking for new ways to make learning engaging and effective.
