Newington CEP School and Lower Halstow School are village Primary Schools for children aged 4-11. Newington has approx. 173 pupils on roll and Lower Halstow has 140 on roll they both have close links with their village church and community. Both have spacious school grounds with games pitches. Both Schools offer a safe secure learning environment and are well equipped with resources, including IWBs, a wireless network and bank of laptops or ICT Suite. Lower Halstow also offers a community Sports Hall. Both schools have been graded as GOOD at their recent, May 2015, Ofsted Inspections.
