We are seeking to appoint a highly qualified, diligent, and innovative Head of Computing who will inspire our young people and share our values to ensure that every student will succeed and thrive. It is envisaged that the successful applicant will consistently deliver engaging lessons and be extremely ambitious and highly motivated to support and lead our pupils. Additionally, the ability to effectively lead and bring the best out of our dedicated team of Computing staff is essential to take on this leadership role. 

The successful candidate will join one of the school’s most effective and respected departments, working and collaborating with an exceptionally committed and talented team of practitioners. We have designed our curriculum to enable students, after completion of their KS3 study, to undertake GCSE Computer Science or  Digital Information Technology Levels 1 & 2. We also offer Level 3 Extended Certificate in Information Technology to our KS5 students. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across each of the key stages should they wish. 

We would welcome applications from Computing teachers who are looking to lead a department for the first time and current Heads of Computing who are looking for a new challenge.
