We are looking to recruit a full time IT Service Manager to join our IT Support department. You will lead the school IT support, providing essential services to both staff and students.

Day to day duties will include leading the school IT support team, taking responsibility of the helpdesk, planning replacements, managing contractors and ensuring efficient use of resources. You will ensure that an excellent standard of customer service is delivered at all times throughout the life cycle of all IT service requests, as well as documenting steps taken to resolve issues. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with staff at all levels in Swale Academies Trust.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
  • Good knowledge of computer hardware
  • Good knowledge of networking
  • A logical approach to problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace, GAM, JIRA and SCCM would be an advantage
