Mandarin Teacher / Tutor

Required for immediate start.  Salary if a Teacher: M1- UPS3.  Salary if a Tutor: a negotiable hourly rate.

Northfleet Technology college are seeking an innovative, passionate and suitably qualified Mandarin Teacher or Tutor for 2 days a week to join our MFL Team at the earliest opportunity.

We are looking for a person to work within our MFL team to teach groups and individuals both in class and after school as part of the Mandarin Excellence Programme.  You will also work with the MFL team as in class support for other language lessons.  We are particularly interested in someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Appropriate qualifications in the subject (including QTS if appropriate).
  • An ability to set high expectations for behaviour & achievement.
  • A capacity to work collaboratively in a team.
  • A passion to go beyond in developing the subject area.
  • An ability to complete reports for external agencies in regard to the Mandarin Excellence Programme.
