Location: Trust Central Office, Twydall Primary School, Kent, ME8 6JS

Contract Term: Permanent  

Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, all year round  

Responsible to: Trust IT Manager  

Salary Range: Medway NJC grade C2 points 12 – 25 (£24,496 - £32,020)

Disclosure Level: Enhanced

About the Role & Who we are looking for

The Trust wish to appoint a skilled and motivated ICT Technician to provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support across the Trust of one secondary school and two local primary schools. The successful candidate should be educated to a minimum standard of GCSE (grade A*-C) or equivalent in English and Mathematics with ICT related qualifications and have experience of working within an ICT environment, diagnosing and solving problems.  

Candidates should be a committed and passionate technology enthusiast and should be able to work with staff and pupils to resolve technical issues and to provide support with using the Trust’s ICT systems. Attention to detail and the ability to work within tight deadlines is important. 

Knowledge and skills in the following areas would be an advantage:

•    Good inter-personal skills with technical and non-technical colleagues and suppliers via face-to-face, telephone and email interaction.

•    Organised, logical, keen attention to detail.

•    Positive ‘can-do’ attitude. 

•    Effective use of the IT Helpdesk to assist end users, prioritise and manage workload.

•    Windows Server 2012 – 2022.

•    Windows 10 /11.

•    Office 365.

As the post requires onsite support to all schools within the Trust, the successful candidate should have their own transport.
