Grade: KR5-6 (depending on experience)

Salary: £23,693-£25,262 FTE (Actual £10,836-£11,553)

Are you passionate about enabling children to maximise their potential in their academic, social and personal achievements.  If so, join us at Dartford Bridge Community Primary School where the development of the whole child is at its heart – we are looking to appoint a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work within our inclusive and supportive team.

The HLTA role will be to work alongside our dedicated staff team to lead the learning of children within school.  The role will be mainly based in KS2 but may occasionally involve working with KS1 children. The experience of working in KS2 as a HLTA is an advantage although training will be provided so if you have TA experience and are looking to extend your skills further, please contact the Headteacher to discuss this further.

Dartford Bridge Community Primary School is looking to appoint someone who has the ability to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils through quality teaching and creative learning experiences.

 This post is a customer-facing position and falls within the scope of the Code of Practice on English Language Requirement for Public Sector Workers. The school has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the JD/Person Specification. These will be applied during the recruitment/selection and probationary stages.
