Teacher of Science – Chemistry Specialism

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic member of staff who is looking to join our extremely high-performing and over-subscribed school.  Applications are invited from well-qualified and passionate Chemistry specialists for this opportunity to teach in our thriving Catholic community. Our Science department’s results are consistently excellent and have been a major contributing factor to the exceptional whole school outcomes achieved in recent years. We have designed our curriculum to enable students to undertake either GCSE Double Science or Triple Science at Key Stage 4, whilst also offering traditional science A Levels (Biology, Chemistry & Physics) in our 6th Form, alongside Level 3 BTEC Applied Science.  The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across each of the key stages, specialising in Chemistry at both GCSE and A Level.

St John’s is a very successful co-ed Catholic school with over 1300 pupils including c.300 in our Sixth Form.
