As a member of the Leadership Team, you will provide strategic leadership and management of finance across the school.

Through the planning, development, and delivery of finance, you will support the infrastructure, decision making process and strategy of our school.

This position offers the right candidate the potential for the role to grow into that of a Business Manager, and we are keen to support the development of an individual who aspires to career progression.

As a Finance Manager, you will:

  • Participate in strategic decision making to ensure that the business service implications of all decisions are duly considered and particularly that all financial implications are rigorously explored;
  • Develop, implement, monitor and review appropriate strategies for the finance operation, providing specialist and professional advice to the Senior Leadership Team and the Governing Body;
  • Oversee, the implementation of financial procedures, transactions and activity within the school ensuring adherence to financial regulations whilst providing advice on these to staff and the Senior Leadership Team.


Who we are looking for:

  • An individual with significant experience in a senior administrative/ finance role with experience of team leadership/ management.
  • Someone with the knowledge, theory and practice of business and administration management who possesses expertise across a range of activities including finance, procurement and administration.
