We are looking to recruit a full time IT Technician, to join our IT Support department. Working alongside the Network Manager you will deliver first and second line support to staff and students in the school. Day to day duties will include troubleshooting and resolving issues for desktops, laptops, servers, tablets, projectors and interactive whiteboards. You will ensure that an excellent standard of customer service is delivered at all times throughout the life cycle of all IT service requests, as well as documenting steps taken to resolve issues. You will have excellent interpersonal skills. The role will also involve the development and maintenance of the schools website.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
  • Good knowledge of computer hardware
  • Basic knowledge of networking
  • A logical approach to problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP would be an advantage
