We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic person able to help manage our busy school office, where you will:

*Liaise and communicate with students, staff, parents and outside agencies

*Have a pleasant and friendly manner as well as being assertive

*Communicate and action messages received by phone/email/verbally

*Order school supplies and equipment, keeping records of relevant invoices

*Share the varied duties of the administration team, as well as taking on HR / Payroll duties

*Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure

*Have the ability to multi-task and respect confidential information relating to staff, students and families, working alongside the school’s senior leadership team

*Offer good communication skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office.

*A willingness to learn and adapt is always essential in school and you will need to become confident in using our management information systems as well as Financial / HR and organisational systems. Training will be available for this.

*Have a skill set that includes: good financial knowledge, attention to detail, excellent literacy and numeracy skills and competency in using IT systems.

*Be able to plan, organise and prioritise with having an understanding of data protection and confidentiality

*A good understanding of safeguarding and be up to date with 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' legislation.

 *It is also essential to have good sense of humour!

We are situated near the Pantiles end of Tunbridge Wells and we are lucky to have a large site with lots of outdoor space such as a field, big playground, class outdoor areas and a courtyard. Currently, we have six classes from Reception to Year 6 with around 130 and pupils on roll.

We are a happy, caring and supportive school, with high standards, committed and passionate in changing life opportunities for our children through an enriched and exciting curriculum. We are in contact with the local community and full participate in local events as well as fundraising for the chosen house charities.
