Our delightful school needs a Site Manager to lead our friendly and hardworking premises team. The right candidate will be responsible for security, maintenance, repairs and some cleaning of our school site and grounds. The candidate will also maintain our school premises to our current high standards, working alongside our staff and children. We are looking for someone who is a team player while able to organise and manage time, show initiative and flexibility and get the job done efficiently. This exciting and varied role involves such tasks as: unlocking and locking the school, ensuring good security of the site, maintenance and repair of the buildings and equipment, redecoration, ordering supplies and stock and keeping Health and Safety procedures and records up to date. The role also involves very occasionally being available at nights, weekends and holidays in certain circumstances eg. emergency call outs/weekend lettings or events. Although, these happen rarely but it is a commitment that is required. The hours are 36 per week for 52 weeks per year. The shifts are shared with our caretaker and consists of an AM shift (07:00 to 15:00) or PM shift (10:00 to 18:00). 25 days holiday leave a year; to be taken during the school holiday periods.
