We are looking for someone join our lunchtime provision as a Play Leader.

The successful candidate is required to complete Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) training in order to support with our OPAL lunchtime play. 

This role will involve:

  • coming into school at 11:55 each day and ensuring that the areas are set up for play
  • supporting the delivery of the play action plan, and 
  • working with other lunchtime staff.

We are working towards our OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) award.

Our latest OFSTED inspection (February 2023) highlighted:

Pupils are joyful and safe in this nurturing school. Children make a strong start in early years, where the school's exceptional pastoral care begins. Pupils feel special and highly valued. Staff are dedicated to finding unique talents in every pupil.

The school roll is currently 271 pupils, spread over nine classes (three classes per year group).

Team work and positive working relationships are very important to us and we are very much at the heart of our community, working closely with our local Church.

Our last diocese inspection was graded Outstanding (March 2018).
