Do you have excellent relationship building and communication skills? Do you have experience of providing pastoral support to children and families? Can you work effectively with social and emotional factors affecting a child’s capacity to learn?

We are looking to appoint an efficient and well organised colleague with excellent interpersonal skills to join our inclusive, high-performing and collaborative team.

Some young people experience difficulty engaging with school and can find themselves struggling with poor attendance, low self-esteem, anxiety or behaviour issues that create barriers to their learning and enjoyment of school. This role will involve working directly with young people and their families to help improve their motivation, participation and engagement with school so they are able to achieve their full potential.

The hours of work will be 8:15am - 3:45pm per week (paid 45 weeks).

We strongly recommend that you visit the school prior to application. Please contact Hollie Edwards (Director of Mental Health & Wellbeing) via the office 01227 374608 to arrange.

We look forward to meeting you!

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An Enhanced DBS check will be sought from the successful candidate.
