Weeks: 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days)

Salary: Kent Range 7 - £22,023 - £24,703 pro-rata (£25,378 - £28,466 FTE) dependent on experience

Start Date: September 2023

If so, join us at Dartford Bridge Community Primary School where relationships with parents and our wider community is at its heart - we are looking to appoint a Family Support Manager and Wellbeing Lead to work within our inclusive and supportive team.

The Opportunity

This an exciting opportunity for someone who is dedicated to ensuring the best outcomes for all children, and is committed to safeguarding. The role will involve working alongside Senior Leaders and all school staff to provide holistic support for children and families, as well as promoting engagement with the school community and breaking down any barriers. This will, in turn, raise school attendance, enhance children’s social and emotional development and maximise their opportunities to learn regardless of backgrounds and family circumstances. 

We are looking for a colleague who has:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and planning skills
  • Excellent ability to work as part of a team
  • Experiences of using problem solving techniques and approaches when working with families
  • Proven abilities to deal with difficult/sensitive situations
  • Ability to demonstrate a child centred approach

Desirable

  • Experience of working with attendance in schools
  • Experience of working as a DSL
