Job Status: Term Time Only, 43.6 weeks per year

Hours: 27.5 hours per week for TA (8:30am-3:10pm) / 4.17 hours per week for After School Club (3:10-4:00pm)

VACANCY
St. Peters are looking for a full-time TA of 27.5 hours per week who will be supporting in class. Ideally, this person will also cover daily After School Clubs until 4pm for 4.17 hours per week. The successful applicant will have good interpersonal skills, positive behaviour management strategies and the ability to show initiative and be prepared to work in Key Stage One and / or Foundation Stage. Proven experience of working with children at Infant level is desirable.

 

Are you:

  • able to work in a Foundation Stage or Key Stage One class with relevant experience of these age groups;
  • able to support children in their learning and with their individual needs;
  • able to motivate and inspire children of all abilities;
  • well organised, efficient and with good behaviour management;
  • caring with a good sense of humour;
  • able to work collaboratively with staff, parents, governors and the wider community?

St Peters is a small infant school with a maximum of 120 children, situated in the heart of Rochester. Having had a school on the site for 120 years, it is well established within the local community, amongst whom it is held in high regard.
