OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR/RECEPTIONIST

HOURS:                25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 11.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

WEEKS:                 39 weeks (Term time plus 5 inset days)

SALARY:               Kent Range 4 - £12,541 (£21,389 FTE)

CONTRACT:        Permanent

We are looking to appoint a hardworking Office Administrator who is approachable and able to provide a warm welcome to our parents, children, staff and visitors.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a team player with a welcoming, friendly, caring personality and a sense of humour
  • Have strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Have strong IT skills including excellent typing skills and knowledge of relevant computer software
  • Be able to multi-task and prioritise showing their organisational skills
  • Have a good level of education, including GCSE English and Maths

 

The successful candidate will provide a warm welcome to every member of Manor Community Primary School’s community either on the phone, in writing or in person.  They will be expected to provide support to the rest of the school as part of an effective office team.

Ideally the successful candidate should have previous experience of working within a school environment.  The candidate must be able to prioritise their workload within a busy office environment whilst maintaining a good sense of humour and remaining enthusiastic and flexible.

Appropriate support and professional development are provided.  A First Aid qualification would be advantageous.
